I've been lucky enough to have two totally amazing internships while I was in school. The second was with superstar husband and wife design team Michael and Meta Newhouse. Michael does a lot of maps and information design: combine that with a raw talent for making things look cool and a great sense of humor and you've got a great designer. Oh, and if you need a book, chances are he's read it and has a copy you can borrow in his archives.
Below are some of the fun isotype figures we did to represent Michael and Meta for their shiny new website (which has yet to launch because they're so busy).
